Thanks Rich. It's never nice to see a lad go down injured. Particularly as he was only kicking the ball and there was no challenge on him. We all hope that Zack's injury doesn't prove to be serious, he make's a speedy recovery and is back inbetween the sticks soon.

Well all good runs must come eventually. The 5-1 scoreline may look as if it came crashing down but that was far from the case. For gone 40 minutes we at least matched APR, our illustrious opposition, and even led 1-0 at half time. Two quick goals, early in the 2nd half put APR on top, regretably we let our heads drop a little and paid the price. We will dust ourselves off and get back to league action next week.

Lads you battled hard today, and deserved your 5-4 victory. You could tell we where a bit rusty to start off with, as we havent played for 5 weeks. PRD are good strong team, we matched them. Nice to have Joe back in goal, however we have 3 new injured players. Andy, Alex and Tom (B). Hope you all recover quickly.

Very happy after todays 3-1 win over Lane Head. We certainly didnt make it easy for ourselves in the first half allowing ourselves to be bullied and knocked of the ball to easily but the second half showed how we can play just got to make sure we do it all game ... Well done today lads very proud

U14 Wolves continued their push for
Silverware with a hard fought 2-0 victory over Wednesfield RBL. Perhaps due to the christmas break we were far from our best but we were the more clinical when it mattered, we will happily take the points, and move on to the next fixture.

A good performance from the lads today we were just unlucky to conceded in the last 15 seconds against the league leaders. We deserved at least a draw but a big improvement from last week.
This award is presented annually by Rita Jefferies
in honour of her father, ex-Wolves and Liverpool goalkeeper
Cyril Sidlow. It is not necessarily based on skill or
ability, but effort and attitude. It goes to a player
who has shown the greatest commitment and contribution
to their team's cause.
In 2010 the award was
presented to Daniel Perry by John Williams.
We support the FA Respect programme and encourage all of our club members, players, coaches and parents to accept the decisions of match officials in a mature and honest manner. After all, referees are only human, and like the rest of us they can make a genuine mistake. Overall, they still get the vast majority of decisions correct, and those that they do get wrong have a strange way of evening themselves out over the course of a season.
Don't stand still, keep pushing forward in whatever it is you do. You may get the occasional setback, but treat it as a valuable learning experience, reflect on it, then do what's necessary to ensure it doesn't happen again.
That's what life is all about. We all grow and improve; as people, as parents, as footballers, as coaches/managers, and of course as web designers.
So, our website has been revised. The first version was ok, after all it did get over 10,000 hits. But we didn't want to rest on our laurels.
We hope you like this new version, sign our guestbook and tell us what you think.
