U16s Triumph in Cup Final
[ 99 days old ]
Following a season of struggling to get results the lads finally got their just reward for earlier performances and great team spirit by lifting the Charity cup 2-0 against a strong Smethwick Sikh Temple. Super sub Jake Wade came off the bench to score twice in a tremendous second half team display. Whilst the team regulars performed brilliantly special mention should go to goalkeeper Dan Newman who put in a faultless display of handling and midfield dynamo Jake Spittle. Also second half subs Sam Price & Jack Binnell put in their best performances of the season to light up the evening with some scintillating football under the floodlights at Bilston Towns Queen street ground.

Under 13's we have got a 7-a-side tournament on the 19th June at APR the team will be announced at the car wash on Saturday 12th June make sure you are all there our slot is 1 til 2 at Sandown 1st School.
This award is presented annually by Rita Jefferies in honour of her father, ex-Wolves and Liverpool goalkeeper Cyril Sidlow. It is not necessarily based on skill or ability, but effort and attitude. It goes to a player who has shown the greatest commitment and contribution to their team's cause.
In 2009 it was awarded to Dominic Eardly from the U14's (pictured).
We support the FA Respect programme and encourage all of our club members, players, coaches and parents to accept the decisions of match officials in a mature and honest manner. After all, referees are only human, and like the rest of us they can make a genuine mistake. Overall, they still get the vast majority of decisions correct, and those that they do get wrong have a strange way of evening themselves out over the course of a season.
Don't stand still, keep pushing forward in whatever it is you do. You may get the occasional setback, but treat it as a valuable learning experience, reflect on it, then do what's necessary to ensure it doesn't happen again.
That's what life is all about. We all grow and improve; as people, as parents, as footballers, as coaches/managers, and of course as web designers.
So, our website has been revised. The first version was ok, after all it did get over 10,000 hits. But we didn't want to rest on our laurels.
We hope you like this new version, sign our guestbook and tell us what you think.
